We just got in the brand new Remz HR 1.2 Skates from Remedyz. The all new ‘True Balance” skate with the frame aligned more towards the center of your foot. Their signature High Resilience skate in a brand new color scheme.

Check out some of the extra information and photos below:The new Remz HR 1.2 Skates come equipped with a Ground Control XS Frame. This frame is able to accommodate all different setup styles, perfect for flat or anti. Also the sickle bolts makes it so you only need one allen wrench to change a wheel. The frames come with 42mm Razor Antirockers, perfect size for these frames. They come with Remz brand new centered soul, so you will have a little bit more negative space than previous ones. As always they come with the Remz Backslide Plates, these backslides are aligned nicely with the frame, keeping the grind centered under your foot. They come stock with some 57/88 Generic Wheels and Generic Abec 5 Bearings. Inside the box will be velcro straps if you want to get a little bit more flex out of your skate. Also they have a V-Cut-able cuff, it’s perforated for easy cutting and the liner has a removable V-Cut insert.

Improvements:

The first is the obvious new frame alignment. A got the chance to skate my buddies pair and right of the bat i felt alot more balanced and centered, made all my tricks feel alot more comfortable. Also alot less scraping on the soulplate on landing then I’ve experienced in other Remz models.

The Liner is visibly thicker and alot more comfortable than previous various. Also the outer material seems to be made of a more durable material than older Remz liners.

Overall I’m really impressed with how this skate came out, some much needed upgrades to a classic skate.

“With the HR1.2 we’re introducing a new generation ‘true-balance’ boot with an adjusted location of the frame that eliminates the outwards bending of Remz skates, resulting in a lot more balanced and comfortable position of the foot inside the boot and a skate that will stay strong longer.
I feel much more solid in my Remz than I ever had before” says Chris Haffey about the HR1.2, “It feels so much more natural to be truly balanced over the frame and it took no time to adjust at all. Landings got more solid instantly and even just standing in the skate feels better.” “

The picture above showing the new “True Balance” frame alignment, centered to increase stability.

“Based on the popular Formula 1 frame, Ground Control’s new F1 XS frame features an extra wide split, deeper recessed axle bolts and a thicker H-block; 15 mm wider than the split found on the traditional F1 frame, a 116mm split between the center axles. The maximum wheel size is 60 mm (outside) and/or 56 mm if riding 4 wheels flat. It also comes with the smaller axle bolt heads of the FLT2 frames resulting in increased material around the axels for even more durability.

Get right into the groove with our newest redesigned Formula1 XS frame. Ground Control has combined the fun of flat rocker with the grindability of anti, all in one package. You’ve now got the option of a 56mm wheels setup with a 4 finger H-block split! Try it with anti rocker and get all the benefits of a freestyle frame, but with a smaller, more precise groove.

GC engineered the XS frame with a slightly harder plastic for a longer, faster, smoother grind feel, also allowing for a stiffer, more responsive ride. We’ve incorporated the Featherlite 2 smaller axle head, increasing plastic around the edges, lengthening the life of your frame, and improving the feel while grinding. Overall strength and durability, meant to take the whooping you’re ready to dish out.

This is also the introduction of the first frame for GC Pro Rider, Joey Chase. Known for doing some of the biggest gaps and incredible stunts in the game, we feel that Joey was the perfect guy to receive this as his signature frame. After all, if he can trust them, so can you. “Light but solid as sh–! I don’t really trust any other frame, and with the bigger groove I can grind anything without getting caught up.” – Joey Chase
